At the beginning of summer, I bought Brien a hat in which to mow the lawn. There is no "lawn mowing hat" that is the height of fashion, but it helps just a tiny bit in the exhaustive heat of 2-3 hrs of mowing the lawn. Ava is fascinated with Brien's role as the family grass mower and "Mommy, new vacuum"...despite having bought the vacuum several months ago. I cringe at the traditional roles she is assigning us! Anyway, she sees the hat in the garage at random times and demands, "Daddy, mow grass!" She will hear a lawn mower somewhere and say, "Look, mow grass! Daddy wear THE hat." She loves to make anything into a hat to be just like Daddy...when he is mowing the grass. This is a picture of her in the tub with...yet another...tupperware container on her head. She had just said, "Look, Mom! Ava mow grass, too! Wear hat!"

Just like Daddy!
