Portland Update...

I don't have the ability to upload any of our fun pictures, yet, but we're all doing well! We are now in the apt which is an adventure all in itself. It's a nice apt, but trying to keep the kids quiet in respect to the people above and below is challenging at best. Aiden LOVES the apt as he doesn't have to go upstairs to put his clothes away. :) It's the little things. He and Ava also love sharing a room, and there is plenty of giggling and fooling around prior to sleep. We continue to house hunt and hope to find something soon. It's a very different market here, and we are slowly acclimating to the reality of what we will get in a house. I'm hoping for more than one bathroom...it's funny how priorities can quickly change. We LOVE Portland and wouldn't trade it for any house in Memphis!
Aiden starts at his new school tomorrow. The school is GREAT, and he is very excited. The principal gave us a tour yesterday, and he had many questions and comments as we toured. It was cool to see him interacting in such a grown up way.
We have been exploring and have already visited the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and the Children's Museum which were both a lot of fun. We also love seeing Mt Hood and Mt St. Helen's on nice days which have been plentiful!
I will update pictures when our computer is up and running. We're looking forward to a visit from Heidi, Jon and Lucia this weekend to celebrate Ava Grace's 3rd Birthday! What a treat! I hope you're all well!
