The "Fancy Nancy" Party! (Part One)

Ava had a fabulous time at her "Fancy Nancy" party, and we had one tired little 4 y/o at the end of it all! She invited 4 friends from school plus our neighbors, James and Madeline. I had briefly met the parents before but got to know them better yesterday which was great. What is interesting is these are the 4 kids she really connects with at school, and they all have great parents! Here is a photo journey through the party...

Reading "Fancy Nancy's Favorite Fancy Words From Accessories to Zany." We used the extravagant words throughout the party...gorgeous, zany, dapper, glamorous, boa, improvise etc...

Ava wanted everyone to make their own "fancy" cupcake with decorations instead of having a big cake. It was a big hit with some VERY fancy cupcakes in the end. Even the parents got to decorate their own cupcakes.

Everyone started the party by making a crown. Here is a picture of Grandma assisting to find the letters for Kacey's name. The kids made pretty fancy crowns!

We played the balloon game with the balloon game song. The object of the game is to keep all the balloons up in the air throughout the whole song. They had a blast!
