Ava had a Thanksgiving program at school. They had a big Native American unit that they did in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. They sang some Native American songs and ended with the holiday appropriate folk song "She'll Be Coming Around the Mountain" in which Ava really whooped it up! :) Her teachers tell us we should get her into some drama productions somewhere. Really? You think? We shared in their feast afterwards, and she shared her many Native American crafts with us. It was fun to see her in her element. :)
