Chip!  Ava was a hoot and kept teasing Chip saying, "Are you a squirrel?"  Chip would shake his head "No," and Ava would giggle and say, "Are you a chipmunk?"  He would shake his head "Yes!"  and she would start all over again.

First Santa sitting of the year.  Aiden asked for Legos, and Ava wanted....sigh...Barbies.

We didn't go to Disney prior to this year as Aiden has never been a big fan of costumed characters.  Ava, on the other hand, LOVES them and embraces them to the fullest.  If there is ever a place to practice desensitization with costumes, it's Disney!  Aiden did awesome, and was enjoying the characters as well (although not as passionately and exuberantly as Ava...although who loves life more than Ava?).  Aiden chose lunch at Goofy's Kitchen where we hung out with Goofy, Aladin, Baloo, Chip and Dale and Mulan while we ate a less than stellar buffet.  The 2nd day we had lunch with the princesses including Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Belle and Sleeping Beauty while eating even worse food!  Those lunches were definitely for the characters!  Being the good sport that he is, Aiden politely suffered through the princess lunch for his sister who was on top of the world.   I think I'll start this Disney blog with character photos...
