Ferris Wheel

Ava has always been enthralled with the ferris wheel through books.  When we first moved to Portland, there was a ferris wheel at the Rose Festival, and we told her she could go on it only to discover she wasn't tall enough.  Aiden and Brien went on the ferris wheel while we watched.  She was absolutely precious as she didn't feel sad that she couldn't go but was overjoyed for Aiden that he COULD go.  It made me cry at the time and still does every time I think about it.  For the next year, she focused on growing to be able to go on the ferris wheel.  Well, she didn't grow that year and after finding out why not and starting on meds, she continued to focus on that as a goal.  It was a simple request.  Disney CA Adventure Park had a huge ferris wheel, and she couldn't wait to go!  We were all able to go together, and it was pretty special!

Destination...big ferris wheel with no height requirements!



So proud and happy to be the next in line for the ferris wheel!
