One of the great parts of our trip is that the kids got some much needed time with G&G without us! It was a win-win for everyone. G&G got some Portland area time while the kids were at school, got to see Aiden's annual Rhythms program at school, Ava's ballet class, Aiden's soccer game and Aiden's piano lesson. They all took the Mt. Hood Railway train together for a day, too! They had a "Letter P" menu each night that the kids thought was awesome. They were even able to attend Grandparent's Day at Ava's school which is a first for either of our kids, since we don't live near grandparents. We were so appreciative of their willingness to parent and love our kids in our absence, and it allowed us to relax and not have to worry about the kids. Here are a few photos of their adventures...
