The kids and I had an adventurous morning this morning while Brien is in L.A. celebrating his friend, Andy's, birthday for the weekend. We started with breakfast at a super fun nuts and twigs little place in NE Portland, and it was yummy. Gone are the days of the kid menu for Aiden. This boy has a big appetite! From there, we ventured to Forest Park to hike. Forest Park is the one of the country's largest urban forest reserves and has more than 70 miles of trails throughout. Ava's request from there was to find a park with playground equipment, and she learned to do the monkey bars! She really is a monkey!
