In December, our little quality Hospice was swallowed by a big health care company. Nobody anticipated they would close our doors and split us up to go to different offices. We all primarily work from home now to go see our patients. That's the ending. The beginning is new nice co-workers, working from home (much less stressful mornings, being able to start dinner, throw in a load of laundry etc...) and accessing more areas of Portland. It has been an interesting transition to say the least, but those of us who wanted them kept our jobs. That's a great thing, too.
