Growing up!

It's happening before our eyes!  I always check on the kids before I go to bed, and I cannot believe how big and grown up they have gotten!  They are happy and healthy, and we are so very blessed.  Scroll down for the updates...sorry for the weird way the blog put the words :(



Aiden before soccer practice.  Aiden is almost as big as I am now!  He has about an inch to go to catch up.
He is playing soccer (year round) and is about to start Lacrosse as well.  His team won their 2nd Battle of the Books battle and are heading to the school finals!  Aiden is a prolific writer and enjoys writing stories and poetry.  It's so
fun to hear his stories as they are wonderfully descriptive!  He has his festival competition coming up for piano and
will be performing a jazz duet with his friend, Nick, at the spring recital.  He is also learning to
play the Marimbas after school and will perform at the end of the year.  Finally, he is part of a
Lego Robotics class after school as well and is really enjoying working with a friend
to build contraptions that can be motored to do cool things!  He's a busy boy!




Here is Ava Grace on her way to school.  Ava is having a great school year in kindergarten!  She loves
music and now says she wants to be a Music Teacher when she grows up.  She cannot wait to be old
enough to take piano lessons (she can start in the fall). She is singing ALL the time.  I think we might be
the OR version of Glee at our house.  Ava continues to take gymnastics and is waiting to start soccer again.  She is also
now taking French after school in French Club and takes a Drama Class on Thursdays and has NO stage fright at all. 
She is reading up a storm and checks out lots of books as she loves reading.  It's so fun to watch her
writing improve as well, and she has a journal that she is writing stories in to be like her big brother!
