Coast!

I hadn't taken my mom to the coast since moving here, so we planned a fun overnight for just the two of us!  We had an oceanfront room and spent a lot of time walking along the beach.  We got caught in a rain/windstorm during our morning walk, and it made for quite the adventure.  It was lovely to sit on the balcony watching the sunset and then again in the morning with a cup of coffee.  Great company, great views.
