A Visit From An Owl

 

I was just getting on my treadmill in the garage when I looked up and saw an owl sitting on the backboard of the basketball hoop.  It was amazing!  I got the kids and called the neighbors, and we all watched this incredible bird spin it's head around to watch everything in it's presence.  I read on-line that sometimes they eat squirrels, and if so, this owl is in the right spot!  Our squirrels have been NUTS (pun intended) and have been digging up my potted planters on the porch and making serious messes!  Needless to say, I didn't get my workout in as by the time the owl flew away, I was out of time, but it's not very often you get to watch an owl in such close proximity!
