Ava is such a funny little girl. She is so artsy, creative and expressive. She has become very picky about what she wears. Her clothes cannot have pockets, buttons/snaps or loose strings. Jeans are out of the question and the bolder and brighter the better. She puts together outfits that look like Pippy Longstocking. We went shopping for shoes for AIDEN last weekend, and Ava spotted these "Twinkle Toes" shoes in the store (yes, the little fake jewels light up when she "stomps"). She absolutely had to have these shoes, and I gave in because they screamed "Ava Neudeck." They didn't have her size, so they had to ship them to us. You might have thought it was the end of the world that she couldn't take those shoes home that day. She even wanted to go home and take a bath and go to bed (at 3:30 in the afternoon), so she could wake up the next day and her shoes would arrive. Everyday, she checked the porch for her shoes. Well, today was the day. They arrived! She was so excited and was thanking us PROFUSELY for buying her those shoes. She was so proud to wear them to the Mallory's for a cookout tonight.
