We spent an AWESOME weekend in Central OR at Black Butte Ranch with our friends, The Mallory's, at their cabin. We met at the cabin Friday afternoon, but before they arrived we did a little snowshoeing at the Santiam Pass with lots of snow and plenty of sunshine. Ava was too small for snowshoes, but she hiked some of the trail and was pulled in her chariot...I mean, sled, the rest of the way. Fun times!

Brien blazed our own trail in respect to the x-country skiers. Later, we realized there
was a snowshoe trail parallel to the ski-trail which was MUCH easier. |
