Egypt...At OMSI

This is the only way you would want to travel to Egypt right now given the political situation!  We took the kids to OMSI yesterday to check out a new exhibit on Egypt.  They had a real mummy there which was from 260BC which was amazing to see.  Aiden asked if he could be mummified when he dies.  I said, "Sure, if that's what you want."  I'm not planning to be around anymore when that happens, so he will have to pre-plan himself on that one.  They had CT scans of various mummys as well as x-rays, and the kids could pull the x-rays and put up on the light board just like at the doctor.  Guess where Ava was for a good amount of time. :)  They had artifacts and building pyramids activities and lots of cultural and archeological exhibits.  Of course, we explored the rest of the museum as well, and it was a super cool and FUN afternoon.
