We spent one of our days in Chicago pursuing different adventures. The girls (Dianne, Ava and I) went to downtown Chicago and had lunch at the American Girl Place in Water Tower Place. The guys (my dad, Brien and Aiden) went to a White Sox game at Target Field. It was a great day for everyone with lots of fun! Incidentally, I forgot to pack Ava's American Girl, Laney, so we ended up borrowing one for the day. She didn't seem to mind and still had fun having a doll with her. The White Sox lost, but the guys still enjoyed the game. It was Aiden's first professional baseball game, and he talked Brien into buying him a baseball hat for his growing collection!
