It was an outstanding summer day today, so we found a great hike to do this morning. We live just 40 min from the beautiful Columbia Gorge area with a plethora of amazing hikes. We have a
Hiking With Kids In Oregon book that has been extremely helpful to allow us to do 5 y/o manageable hikes. Ava has come a long way as a hiker and did the 3 mile (400 ft elevation) with no complaining and complete enjoyment. It was such a fun time as a family and truly made me appreciate the ages of our kids!
