Wisconsin Trip Part III

The final stage of the trip was Wausau to see G&G Stieber and Uncle Erik.  The kids, Gpa and Brien all went fishing and caught a good number of fish.  Ava went for the first time this year and loved it.  Grandpa is a very patient teacher with both the kids!  The kids participated in chalk fest in downtown Wausau, and we watched the international kayak races downtown as well.  Our picnic and hike were rained out, but we met Uncle Erik at a pottery place and painted pottery before returning to G&Gs for dinner.  The kids enjoyed using the binoculars to spy all the birds at Gma's bird feeder and identified them in the bird book.  Brien enjoys seeing the wild turkeys, and they came to see us off as we left on Monday morning.  It was a fun relaxing time on the prairie and good to see more family.

Go, Ava, Go!




Ava loves worms.  When I'm weeding in the yard, she will take any worms
I find and put them in the garden or compost. :)
