Christmas Lights

While we enjoy seeing the festivity of  Christmas lights on other people's homes, we have never been Christmas light people.  Brien doesn't want to bother with it, and frankly, neither do I.  When we moved in, one of our neighbors in particular, gave us a really hard time about not putting up lights.  It seems the people who lived here before us were much more festive and light laden.  We took her ribbing and gave it right back offering that we would love to have lights if she would like to put them up and take them down each year.  Every year, she continues to ridicule us for not putting up lights.  We have used it as a quality opportunity to teach our kids about peer pressure and standing up for what you want.  Our other neighbors have heard this ridicule each year, and love to joke around.  We came home from  Aiden's soccer game to this:
