Broken Foot
Aiden was hopping around the house and must have hopped wrong on his foot. He ended up fracturing his 5th metatarsal in his right foot. He needs to wear a walking boot for the next 3 weeks with NO SPORTS (is that possible with this boy?). Today was the first basketball practice of the season, so we talked to the coach. Aiden will sit this season out as he would miss a big chunk of the season. He will be able to heal his foot correctly for soccer which starts in mid-February.

Ouch! I remember watching a neighbor boy run around our driveway, kicking the ball and racing to the bases while playing kickball. Somehow I suspect that "walking" cast won't slow Aiden down too much either! Hope it heals quickly and well!
