We had a wonderful low-key Christmas again. We went to the Nutcracker on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful dinner together afterwards. The kids opened a present (new pajamas) from us and exchanged the gifts they got each other. I started a new tradition of reading the story of Jesus' birth from the Bible, and we also read The Night Before Christmas. The kids wrote their letters and left cookies, milk, and oats (for the reindeer) and quickly went to bed. Christmas morning we Skyped with G&G Stieber when the kids opened the presents from them and proceeded to Skype with G&G Moore, G&G Neudeck, Auntie Carol and Aunt Heidi. We had Christmas brunch with friends at the Mallorys which was yummy and a fun time.
