Hiking!

We did 4 hikes during our Rainier trip.  We did Narada Falls first and then a 4 mi round trip to Carter Falls.  We followed that with a 1 mi interpretive history loop through meadows and old growth forests.  This is where we learned about the aforementioned Skunk Cabbage.  Both kids are awesome hikers and love the adventure.  This could not make me happier as hiking is my favorite thing to do!

Narada Falls

We have had a lot on our plates lately.  Consequently,
we forgot some key things on this trip.  One of those
things happened to be a backpack for hiking.  Brien
rigged up this stuff sack to carry snacks and water
bottles.  Go, Brien!

We pondered what it must have been like when this big
boulder came crashing down!  We decided we are glad
we weren't around for that!
