The other day, Ava came to me and said:
Ava: "Mom, I know what I'm going to be when I grow up!"
Me: "Great! What are you going to be?"
Ava: "A Home Depot worker!"
Me: "Great! What department are you going to work in at Home Depot?"
Ava: "Tools or maybe lumber."
Me: "Great! Do you think you can wear a tu-tu when you work there?"
Ava: "Of course!"
I love the fact that Ava is completely diverse in her interests from the human body to dentistry to gardening and composting to ballet to fashion to tools and lumber to music, singing, art and the theatre to soccer and basketball. In the end, whatever she ends up doing "when she grows up," I hope she continues to love life! You go girl!
