Sand Dunes!

Camping further south allowed us to camp near the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.  Oregon has so many cool areas with different ecosystems, and this is just one more to experience.  These dunes are huge and so much fun to climb and slide down.  People sled and sand board down the big dunes and also use dune buggies to navigate them.  We navigated them by foot much to Aiden's dismay!   What fun to see the different areas all in one hike!  The kids found lots of shells and rocks on the beach that they carefully carried back in their jacket pockets.  Aiden said this was his favorite hike "ever!"  He LOVES the ocean.  We love new adventures!
